Mike Burns
President & Founder
Mike graduated from MIT in 1985 and founded IPTrading in 1986, leading the company through four decades of continuous evolution alongside the computer industry—from computer manufacturer and ISP to technical consulting and programming. Recognizing the looming IPv4 scarcity early, Mike and his team began acquiring address space in 2001, ultimately playing a foundational role in establishing the modern secondary market. As a pioneer in the space, Mike authored key transfer policies across both ARIN and LACNIC and brokered the world’s first inter-regional IPv4 transfer in 2012. To bring security and structure to an opaque market, he helped develop the industry’s first third-party escrow model for IPv4 transactions—a practice that is now standard across the globe. Mike’s hands-on technical roots stretch back to 1978, when he held an ARPANET account at just 16 years old.

Tom Fantacone
Vice President & Lead Broker
TTom holds bachelor of science degrees in physics and mathematics from MIT, and a master of science degree in physics from Stanford. In his 40 years of experience as Vice President of Nationwide Computer Systems, Tom has spearheaded the many mergers and acquisitions Nationwide has engaged in, including acquisitions and sales of IPv4 address assets. Tom has been instrumental in developing the company’s IPv4 address brokerage division, IPTrading, which has brokered over 1,200 successful IPv4 transfers. Tom’s responsibilities include all aspects of IPv4 address brokerage including negotiations, contract generation and IPv4 transfer mechanics.

With nearly 40 years of experience in the computer and Internet industry with an emphasis on programming, networking, and client support, Eddie is a specialist in expedited small-block deals and RIPE transfers. Eddie has been with the company for nearly 30 years.
Daniel Miroli
LACNIC Broker
Daniel has more than 25 years of experience in the communications and telecom industries. Since 1995 Daniel has developed and fostered strategic alliances for new and existing telecom providers and operators in LATAM. In addition, Daniel has developed global expansion plans for telecom providers in Spain, consulted and developed extensive business for new telecoms/VoIP carriers and VoIP retail penetration throughout LATAM. Originally from Argentina but now residing in South Florida, Daniel is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
